展覽介紹

作為中西文化交匯的中心，各式西方及東方藝術在香港一向是百家爭鳴、兼容並蓄地發展，並緊貼國際潮流脈搏、吸收各方養份，孕育出一代又一代的優秀藝術家。

曙畫廊此次很榮幸與香港知名策展人梁兆基先生合作，共邀集十位來自不同世代的前輩藝術家及新銳創作者，透過他們各自回應香港這座城市的歷史和變化所創作的圖像：私密如對日常經驗所環顧事物的情緒依存，從住宅空間、塑膠帆布到植物花卉等元素；共感如就週遭世界所圍繞景況的群眾記憶，由建築場域、生活情景至娛樂文化等層面，兩者相互依存，彼此錯綜成兼具宏觀視角與微觀風格的香港特寫，冀能藉此窺探香港繪畫創新多元的一面。

As the hub of cultural exchange between East and West, Hong Kong has long been a vibrant melting pot for various Western and Eastern arts, closely following international trends, absorbing diverse influences, and nurturing generations of talented artists.

Enlighten Gallery is honored to collaborate with renowned curator Mr. Leung Shiu Kee in bringing together ten veteran artists and emerging creators from different generations. Through their individual responses to the history and changes of Hong Kong, they have created images that delve into intimate aspects such as emotional attachment to everyday experiences, encompassing elements like residential spaces, plastic canvases, and botanicals. They also resonate with collective memories of the surrounding world, encompassing architectural landscapes, everyday life scenes, and entertainment culture. These two aspects intertwine, forming a Hong Kong portrait that combines a macroscopic perspective with a microscopic style, aiming to explore the innovative and diverse aspects of painting in Hong Kong.
